For over forty years DM Bowman, Inc (www.dmbowman.com ) has serviced the region primarily east of the Mississippi River with  transportation ... vans, flat bed, bulk and distribution.  Our fleet comprises +/- 400 power units/trucks and 1,200 trailers.  In Maryland we have operation and terminals based in Williamsport, Hagerstown, Frederick and Baltimore.  We also have operations in NC, PA, OH, and IN.  

 

We own and manage warehouse/logistics operations. In Hagerstown, MD, strategically located at the intersection of I-70 and I-81, we have over 1,000,000 square feet of space for public and/or contract warehouse services as well as lease opportunities.  Very recently our facilities along with undeveloped land has been included within the newly developed Foreign Trade Zone # 255 (Washington County, Maryland).  Considering our location, warehousing, distribution and transportation services we believe this will be advantageous to many importers.  The cost to operate in Hagerstown, despite being 80 miles to the west, is cumulatively less costly than what one may realize.  This is especially true for those importers located in the Midwest shipping through the Port of Baltimore.

 

We own and operate an 80,000 sq ft warehouse and 20-truck/76-trailer regional transportation fleet in Indianapolis.  Our sister company, Bowman Development provides construction and real estate development.  They have constructed several of our warehouse facilities as well as our corporate office.
